410S stainless steel tube is a low-carbon, non-hardening modification of Alloy 410, designed for enhanced weldability and improved resistance to oxidation and scaling at high temperatures. Composed of approximately 12% chromium, 410S maintains structural stability and resists embrittlement during prolonged heat exposure.
Unlike fully hardenable martensitic grades, 410S exhibits ferritic structure and is widely used in automotive exhaust systems, heat exchangers, thermal processing equipment, and furnace parts.
